Blackened Shrimp Deviled Eggs

Deviled eggs are probably the number one appetizer that are eaten at parties and functions. It is cheap, quick and easy to make. Adding blackened shrimp, takes the deviled eggs to a new level. These bite sized snacks are spicy, with a hint of sweetness. Some people like only mustard in their deviled eggs, but I like them to be tangy and sweet, so I mix mine with mayo. Boil 8 eggs, this recipe makes 16 eggs.

Once they are boiled, normally about 15-20 min, peel the eggs and remove all of the hard shell. Split each egg down the middle and add the yolk to a separate bowl. Dont worry, if you mess any up, use those as a taste tester.

With a fork or spoon, mash the egg yolks. Add mayonnaise, yellow mustard, sweet relish, pinch of salt & pepper and paprika. Mix together well. If the mixture is too thick, add 1 tbsp of water to thin it out. Do not add too much water, you dont want it to be soupy. Add a little at a time.
