Garlic Herb Lamb Chops
Garlic Herb Lamb Chops
Valentine’s Day is 2 days away and these Garlic Herb Lamb Chops should definitely be on the menu for you and your loved one. I have to admit, I am not a huge fan of lamb chops but I have to say I LOVED these! I think because they didn’t have such a gamey flavor that some lamb chops cab have. I took my time with they and they were great! For the seasoning, I received some spice blends from Golden Steer and they definitely enhanced the flavor of the lamb chops. I used the pepper mafia, herb blend and the salt & pepper blend. If you aren’t able to get these seasonings, you could use onion powder, dried parsley, dried oregano, garlic salt and black pepper. But I highly suggest you get the seasonings from Golden Steer, they are amazing!
In a bowl, add 1 lb of lamb chops and 1 tbsp of olive oil. Make sure they are fully coated in the oil.
Season with 1 tsp of Golden Steer’s pepper mafia, 1 tsp of herb blend and 1 tsp of salt & pepper blend. But if you don’t have the Golden Steer’s seasoning, use 1 tbsp of onion powder, 1 tbsp of dried parsley, 1 tbsp of dried oregano, 1 tbsp of garlic salt and 1 tsp of black pepper. Make sure the lamb chops are fully coated.
Heat 1 tbsp of olive oil in a cast iron skillet. Once the oil is hot, add the lamb chops. Be sure to not overcrowd the pan. Cook 1-2 minutes on each side or until they have browned.
Add 2 tbsp of garlic herb butter, 1 clove of garlic and 1 sprig of rosemary to the pan. Once the butter melts, base the lamb chops with the butter.
One the lamb chops are cooked to your desired temperature, remove from the pan and allow them to rest for 2-3 minutes. Serve with mashed potatoes and a veggie for a complete meal. Serve and ENJOY!
