Easy Chicken Tetrazzini
Easy Chicken Tetrazzini
Chicken spaghetti, chicken casserole, chicken tetrazzini, this dish has many different names. The one thing remains, that it is cheesy deliciousness! This is the go-to casserole dish. It’s easy, quick, cost effective and can feed a large quantity of people. You could make the sauce from scratch using heavy cream, but since this is the “easy'“ version, can processed cheese sauce and cream of mushroom works as the sauce. I promise, this recipe doesn’t skip out on the flavor. Feel free to add any additional veggies to this dish. Some people like to add Rotel tomatoes to this, but I’m not really a fan of that. Cook 2 chicken breasts and evenly shred. While the chicken breast is cooking, cook the spaghetti noodles according to the package directions.
Season with 1 tbsp garlic powder, 1 tbsp onion powder and 1 tbsp cajun seasoning. Add 1 1/2 cup of water to the chicken and cover & cook until the chicken is tender too shred.
Once the pasta is cooked, drain thoroughly.
While the pasta is still hot, add 1 15 oz jar of processed cheese sauce, 2 cans of cream of mushroom and 1 cup of milk.
Stir well. Add the shredded chicken.
Mix well and add to a 9x13 baking pan.
Grab 1 1/2 cup of shredded cheddar cheese and spread evenly over the top of the pasta.
Add to a 350 degree oven for 15 minutes or until the cheese is completely melted on top.
Serve and ENJOY!
