Buffalo Garlic Parmesan Wings
Buffalo Garlic Parmesan Wings
Get ready to make your new favorite flavor of wings….no, seriously! The combination of spicy buffalo and savory garlic parmesan brings these wings to a different level!!!! I love buffalo and lemon pepper wings mixed, so I decided to try buffalo and garlic parmesan. I was a little skeptical of the flavors at first, but once they all came together, it was literally an explosion of flavor. My husband could not stop eating them. I fried the wings for this recipe but you can also air fry them to be a little more healthy. Start by washing and cutting whole wings into drumsticks and flats.
Season the chicken wings with 1 tbsp of cajun seasoning, 1 tbsp of garlic powder, 1 tbsp of paprika, 1 tbsp of onion powder and 1/2 tbsp of corn starch. Make sure the wings are fully seasoned.
Add 2-3 cups of vegetable oil to a cast iron skillet. Once the oil has reached a temperature of 350 degrees, cook the wings 7-8 at a time (depending on the size of the skillet) for 10-13 minutes or until the wings are fully cooked. Repeat until all of the wings are cooked. OPTIONAL: if you prefer to air fry the wings, after seasoning, add 2 tbsp of vegetable to the wings and toss. Add 10-12 chicken wings to the air fryer basket (depending on the size of your air fryer) and cook at 400 degrees for 20-25 minutes, depending on how crispy you want them.
In a bowl, add 1 tbsp of mayonnaise, 1 1/2 tbsp minced garlic, 1/3 cup buffalo sauce, 1/3 cup grated parmesan cheese, 1 tsp garlic salt, 1 tsp dried parsley flakes, 1/2 stick of melted butter and whisk well.
Pour the sauce over the wings and toss well. Make sure each wing is coated in the sauce.
Serve with your favorite side dish to make it a complete meal. Serve and ENJOY!
