Egg White Grill
Egg White Grill
Anytime I go to Chick-fil-a for breakfast, I don’t get the chicken minis, I get the Egg White Grill! If you haven’t tried it, you must! Well…..not anymore since you can make it at home now :) These will be your new favorite breakfast sandwiches. Plus, they are super easy to make. Take one large chicken breast and split it into two and then cut it into four cutlets.
Season the chicken breasts with 1 tbsp of garlic powder, 1 tbsp of onion powder, 1 tbsp of paprika, 1 tbsp of cajun seasoning and 1 tbsp of dried parsley. Make sure each piece of chicken is coated with seasoning.
Add 1 tbsp of vegetable oil to a griddle pan and once the oil is hot, add the chicken breasts. Since the chicken is sliced thin, cook 4-6 minutes per side or until the chicken is fully cooked.
In a pan, add 1 tsp of butter and brown each top and bottom of the english muffins. It will be 1 tsp for each muffin (1 tbsp total).
In a bowl, separate egg whites from the egg yolks. Its ok if a little of the egg yolk gets into the egg white lol.
In a pan, add 1 tsp of butter for each egg white and add the egg white to the pan. Season with salt and pepper and cook about 1 minute or until the egg white is fully cooked.
Once the egg white is cooked, fold it into a square shape.
Repeat until all of the egg whites are cooked. Once cooked, assemble the breakfast sandwiches by adding the chicken breast on the bottom english muffin and then add the egg white and a slice of American cheese and top with the english muffin.
Serve with some hash brown and ENJOY!
