Oven Baked Ribs
Oven Baked Ribs
I love a good slab of ribs cooked hours and hours on a grill but when I dont have time, the oven is just as good. I live in Texas and we are known for good bbq! I normally go for brisket, but ribs are runner-up. This recipe calls for baby back pork ribs but you can use beef ribs instead. I start out by rubbing 1 tbsp of vegetable oil over the ribs.
Season the ribs with 1 tsp parsley, 1 tbsp onion powder, 1 tbsp paprika (or smoked paprika for a smokey taste), 1 tbsp garlic powder, 1 tbsp of cajun seasoning and 1/2 tsp of cayenne pepper.
Evenly coat the ribs with the seasoning. Make sure it is fully covered.
Wrap the ribs in aluminum foil.
Put in a 375 degree oven for 2 hours.
Once removed from the oven, brush your favorite barbecue sauce over the ribs.
Put back in the oven uncovered for another 15-20 minutes.
Remove from the oven and slice the ribs. I promise, the meat will fall off of the bone. Serve and ENJOY!
