Combination Fried Rice

Combination Fried Rice

My family loves a good takeout fried rice but we never get enough of it. My daughter loves shrimp fried rice, my husband loves chicken and I love beef soooooo I decided to combine it and make a combination fried rice with all 3. Can we say FLAVOR???? I probably will not be able to get fried rice any other way after this recipe. I’m sure you will feel the same way too! For the beef, you want to use a thinly sliced steak or you can thinly slice it yourself. You know I am allllll about easy, so I bought chuck beef that was already thinly sliced in the package. For the chicken breast, you want to make sure you slice it thinly so that it cooks evenly with the beef and shrimp. Make sure to have 1-2 cups of each protein.

Season the all of the meat with 1 tbsp paprika, 1 tbsp onion powder and 1 tbsp garlic salt. Make sure each piece is seasoned well.

Heat a wok or skillet with 2 tbsp of vegetable oil. Once the pan is hot, add the meat.

Cook until the chicken and beef are completely done and the shrimp has turned a light pink color.

Once the meat is cooked, remove from the pan and set aside. Add 2 tbsp of butter and 1 tbsp of minced garlic. Mix well. Once the butter is melted, add 1 cup of frozen peas & carrots and 1/2 diced white onion. Cook until the veggies are soft.

Once the veggies have softened, push them to the side of the pan and add 2 beaten eggs to the empty side of the pan. Cook and mix the eggs with the veggies.

Add 4 cups of white rice and 2 tbsps of butter to the pan. Mix well and add 1/3 cups of soy sauce, 1/2 tsp of sesame oil and 1 tsp of Sriracha sauce.

Add the meat to the rice and stir.

Serve with egg rolls or pot stickers for a complete meal. ENJOY!
