Breakfast Sliders
Breakfast Sliders
When I was younger and use to go to Denny’s for breakfast, I would always get their breakfast sandwiches. Putting ham, eggs and cheese on bread, was always so delicious to me! I never finished my whole sandwich since they were so big! That’s when I decided to make breakfast sandwiches, but on slider buns. They are flavorful and handheld. Be careful, you might end up eating the whole pan! For this recipe I used plain white bread sliders but you could also use hawaiian rolls for a sweeter option. You could also switch out the ham for sausage or bacon. You can get really creative with these sliders. I scrambled 5 eggs in a pan and seasoned them with salt and pepper.
Cook the hash browns according to the package directions.
To assemble the sliders, add the rolls to a cutting board and cut them in two. You will have the top and the bottom.
To the bottom later, add the scrambled eggs and on top of the eggs, add the hash browns.
Add 6 slices of deli ham and 9 slices of cheddar cheese. Make sure each slider has each component.
Add the top layer of the buns. In a bowl, add 2 tbsp of butter and 1/4 tsp of minced garlic. Melt and brush on top of the buns.
Put in a 350 degree oven for 10-15 minutes or until the cheese is melted. Slice the sliders and ENJOY!
