Easy Stroganoff w/Ground Beef

Easy Beef Stroganoff

This is a quick and easy version of the hearty beef stroganoff that I also have on the blog. The other recipe include stew meat and takes at least an hour to cook. This recipe is a quick 30 minute one pot meal. Its a tastier version than the boxed kind that you can get in the store. If you are not a fan of ground beef, this recipe works great with ground turkey. Brown 1 lb of ground meat in a pot.

Season the ground beef with 1 tsp garlic powder, 1 tsp onion powder, 1 tbsp minced garlic, salt & pepper (to taste) and 1/3 cup of Worcestershire Sauce. Optional: for some added spice, add 1 tsp of cajun seasoning. Add one can of cream of mushroom and mix well.

Add 3 cups of egg noodles to the pot and 4 cups of beef broth. Stir and cover.

Cover and cook 20 minutes on medium heat.

Add 1/3 cup of heavy cream and 1 tbsp of sour cream. Stir well.

Season with 1 tsp of salt and taste. Serve with salad and garlic bread for a complete meal. ENJOY!

Easy Stroganoff w/Ground Beef

An easy version of the normal creamy and savory beef stroganoff. Another one pot meal that is definitely a crowd pleaser.

Ingredients

Beef Stroganoff
  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 10.5 oz can cream of mushroom
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • Optional: 1 tsp cajun seasoning
  • 4 cups beef broth
  • 3 cups egg noodles
  • 1 tbsp minced garlic
  • 1 tbsp sour cream
  • 1/3 cup Worcestershire Sauce
  • 1/4 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 tsp parsley flakes
  • salt & pepper (to taste)

Instructions

  1. Cook 1 lb of ground beef until it is completely brown.
  2. Season with garlic powder, onion powder, black pepper, Worcestershire sauce and minced garlic. Optional: for added spice, add cajun seasoning.
  3. Add the cream of mushroom and stir well.
  4. Add the egg noodles.
  5. Add the beef broth and cover.
  6. Cook 15-20 minutes or until the egg noodles are tender.
  7. Remove the lid and add the heavy cream and sour cream.
  8. Stir and add salt & pepper to taste. Garnish with parsley flakes.
  9. Serve and ENJOY!
