Tuna Salad Sandwich
Tuna Salad Sandwich
Classic Tuna Salad Sandwiches are my Dad’s favorite! Anytime I am visiting him, he always asks for me to make him a big bowl of it and he will eat on it for a few days. You can eat the tuna salad with crackers or as a sandwich, like I do. Especially if you eat it with a buttery bread, it enhances the flavors of the tuna….delicious!!! This is definitely another easy recipe and perfect for any lunch or snack. Drain 3 cans of tuna using a strainer. You don’t want to have too much water or oil so try and drain as much as possible.
Once all of the extra water or oil is drained, add the tuna to a bowl.
Boil 3 eggs and once they have cooled, chop them up along with 1/4 cup of diced red onion.
To the tuna fish, add the chopped egg, chopped red onion, 2 1/2 tbsp of mayonnaise, 2 tbsp of dill relish and salt & pepper (to taste). Stir well until all of the ingredients are mixed together. Taste to make sure it is seasoned to your liking.
Spread on your choice of bread with some lettuce.
Serve with some chips and ENJOY!
