Bacon Cheeseburger Sliders
Bacon Cheeseburger Sliders
Today, September 18th is national cheeseburger day!!! Its only right that I post these delicious bacon cheeseburger sliders!!! These have all of your favorite flavors of a cheeseburger but I added my daughter’s favorite cheeseburger sauce which is sweet and tangy. You can get creative with these sliders and add your favorite toppings. Did I mention how easy they are to make? Well, they are! Easy and delicious. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees. Start by fully cooking 1 pound of ground beef. You could also use ground turkey if you would prefer.
Once the ground beef is fully cooked, season with 1 tbsp of onion powder, 1 tbsp of garlic powder, 1 tbsp of onion powder, 1 tbsp of cajun seasoning and 1/4 cup of Worcestershire Sauce and stir. Add 1/3 cup of diced onion and stir well. Cook about 5-7 minutes or until the onions are soft and set aside.
Fully cook 5-6 slices of bacon and chop into small pieces and set aside.
Add 2 tbsp of mayonnaise, 2 tsp of ketchup, 2 tsp of mustard and 2 tbsp of sweet relish and stir well.
Cut 12 slider buns in half and spread 1/2 of the sauce on the bottom buns and the other 1/2 on the top buns.
Layer with American cheese, ground beef and onion mixture, chopped bacon and more cheese.
Add the top layer of buns.
Brush the buns with melted butter and sprinkle sesame seeds on top.
Put the sliders in the oven and cook 10-12 minutes or until the cheese is fully melted. Remove from the oven and cut evenly.
Serve with french fries or tater tots. Serve and ENJOY!
